    Nov. 25-27, 2017

    Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka and Hon. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore are invited as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.

    The Forum will focus on "Colombo International Financial City". Colombo International Financial City (CIFC) is a special financial zone that is expected to become an International Financial Centre. It is situated in Colombo, Sri Lanka where the former Port City was planned and is to be built on reclaimed land adjacent to the Galle Face Green. The city will use construction resources from the Colombo Harbour Expansion Project, currently under construction near the site of this proposed city.

    On Tuesday the 31st of January, Ms. Iman Mutlaq, Dr Nisreen Al Otaibi from IAHV Jordan and Dr Katrien Hertog from IAHV U.K. kicked off our upcoming project 'Healing, Non Violent Empowerment and Preventing Extremism Project' by conducting a discussion panel to address the needs of the Syrian refugees along with the Jordanian members of the host community. Attendees included the Director of Syrian Refugees Affairs, representatives from the Ministry of Culture, program managers from Save the Children- Jordan, Jordan River Foundation (JRF) the Islamic Center Charity Society, Noor Al Hussein Foundation - Institute for Family Health, International Relief and Development, Madrasati Initiative, and Terres des Hommes The discussion mainly centered around the types of violence that exist within the community, what the causes were, what kinds of services are being provided to target that type of violence and where the gaps exist.

    Of the 100 businesswomen on our list, 54 are corporate executives, 23 are at the helm of family businesses, 12 are entrepreneurs, and 11 work in government organizations.

    The Global Alliance Partners met together in the Sofitel New York on May 9 to collectively share the partner’s projects and accomplishments of each international financial firm. The partners venture from all parts of the world, therefore bringing together the markets of the world in one room. The Global Alliance Partners allow the fortitude of the international entrance of deal transactions, window to cross- border research, and platform for placement capabilities with execution of trades throughout 120 countries. On May 9, Ms. Mutlaq gave fellow partners a presentation of the project of EGYCOMEX, through the initiative of Sigma Investments Co. Thus, introducing the cooperation of a worldwide network for the Egyptian Commodities Exchange, the first fully electronic, agricultural commodities exchange in the MENA region.

    Furthermore, on May 10 presented renowned financial firms to join the conference and speak about there works hosted by New York brokerage firm Auerbach Grayson & Co. The GAP Conference held many contingents in the financial industry and allowed a forum of experienced leaders in the field to speak about their opinions and suggestions. The GAP Annual Conference give the opportunity for partners to create a more dynamic and systematic progression of financial initiatives meeting in one of the central financial hubs in the world, New York City.

    On April 10- 15, Iman brought together the strong minds and hearts of those yearning to practice happiness. The Happiness Program focused on a holistic relaxation, bring the components, of mind, body and soul together and exuberate the essence from within. Iman, the first Art of Living teacher in Jordan, taught the course to help empower the individual and understand how to live a balanced, happy life. Understanding that the happiness does not come from the course, rather it comes from within since the beginning. The Art of Living Foundation in Jordan supported the Happiness Program, as its principles are yoga, breathing, meditation, knowledge and fun.

    Iman Mutlaq is an inspiration to many gave the experience of hearing her stories and her knowledge to spread love amongst all. The course was purposed on the basis of stress-elimination with effective breathing techniques and simple life-guiding principles from ancient scriptures. Therefore, the course gave easy techniques to its participants to use on a daily basis helping to transform positively the lives of all.

    The Women in STEM Awards MEA 2015 is meant to recognize entry level, middle level and senior level women executives who arisen through the ranks of their peers either as employees or as entrepreneurs. In many countries they have arisen against the stigma of male dominance, social inequality, reduced opportunities and lack of support systems In other countries, it has been their innovative and business acumen that have helped them to clip through the ranks of others, bringing them forward.
